The following option is available for publication of the papers presented at this meeting:

The special issues of SUN and GEOSPHERE (http://www.sungeosphere.org/), where the papers will be limited to 8-10 pages (Invited talks), 6-8 pages (Contributed talks) and 4 pages (poster presentations).

The submission deadline will be 15 October, 2008.

Please note that the special SUN and GEOSPHERE issues are not a conference proceedings. It will be a selection of complete research papers on the topics discussed at the meeting:

• Climate;
• Heliobiology;
• Solar physics;
• Heliosphere, Cosmic Rays, IMF;
• Magnetosphere;
• Ionosphere, high and middle atmosphere;
• Access to data of the Sun-Earth system;
• Instruments and networks;
• Participation of nations in IHY and BSS

All of the SUN and GEOSPHERE papers will be refereed in the normal manner. We will accept only one paper per first author. In order to respect the other contributors, we will be very strict with deadlines for submission, refereeing, and proofing.

Papers which are late, either because of delays in submission or protracted refereeing, will appear individually in later issues of the SUN and GEOSPHERE Journal.

If you wish to participate in these special SUN and GEOSPHERE issues, please send us an e-mail by 15 October with your paper attached. Please indicate, in mail body, that you would like to be considered for inclusion and:

• give us a tentative title and indicate the topic it belongs to (select one of the 9 topics listed above)
• let us know how many pages you anticipate
• suggest 2 potential referees (please look at SUN and GEOSPHERE home page).
