Dear ISWI Participant:

As you may know from ISWI Newsletter Vol.3, No.103, tomorrow (14 March 2012) is the date set for the "Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of SERC" here in Fukuoka, Japan.

    We have two keynote speakers:
  1. Dr. Takao Doi, former Japanese astronaut, now with the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs. His talk is in Japanese and is entitled: "The United Nations Programme on Space Applications"
  2. Prof. H.J. Haubold, who is also with the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (in Vienna). His talk is in English and is entitled: "Space Weather and Einstein?"

Both talks will be broadcast live tomorrow. Details are as follows: Time: (14 March 2012) 2:50 PM to 4:30 PM -- Japan Standard Time (JST); note that Japan does not have any kind of summer time. Location: www.ustream.tv/channel/serc10thanniversary note that it is open access. You do not need any authentication. The first half will be Dr Doi, whose talk will start at 2:50 PM. The second half will be Prof Haubold, whose talk will end at 4:30 PM.
