ISWI Newsletter - Vol.5 No.105
07 October 2013

Dear ISWI Participant:

Attached is the latest Callisto report, and below are a few notes from the issuer of this report:

Dear colleagues and friends

Attached the latest news about Callisto and the e-Callisto network in the framework of IHY2007 and ISWI.

I'm very proud of you guys who constantly provide data to the e-Callisto archive.

The network is still growing and data quality is improving.

Key elements of this report:
- A new station in Indonesia
- INPE Brazil is back online
- Spectrum measurements in Ireland demonstrate that radio-quiet areas still exist.

Older reports can be found here: Data access and Callisto related technical information here: http://www.e-callisto.org/

Best regards
Christian Monstein

In addition, I am pleased to say that during the recent "2013 ISWI/MAGDAS School in Africa" (23-27 Sept, Cote d'Ivoire in western Africa), Miss Heba Salah (Helwan University, Egypt) delivered a fine presentation entitled: "Studying bursts using callisto spectrometer".

Details on this highly successfuly school will be provided in future issues of this newsletter ---- so stay tuned.

Faithfully and cordially yours,
George Maeda
Editor of ISWI Newsletter
