Dear ISWI Participant:

The United Nations and the Government of Indonesia jointly organized the "United Nations/Indonesia International Conference on Integrated Space Technology Applications to Climate Change" under the framework of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications. (read more)

This conference took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 2 to 4 September (a few days ago). It was hosted by the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN). I attach one of the presentations; it was written and presented by a member of Manila Observatory, Father Daniel McNamara.

I bring to your attention to Attachment, Page 23-27 (of 31) of this document because it covers the space weather observation conducted by Manila Observatory throughout the Philippines Archipelago.

Cordially yours,
George Maeda
