Online registration for the "2015 UN/Japan Workshop on Space Weather"
is now underway at this United Nations website:
It is open to anyone as there is no registration fee -- but you are expected to present something in oral-format or poster-format. In return, you can enjoy the sights, sounds, and delicious food of Fukuoka in the deep south of Japan. (See "Host City and Workshop Venue" section of the aforementioned webpage -- this section is new.)
Webmaster Notes: See Workshop Venue on Google Maps here.
Based on submitted abstracts and competitive evaluation, roughly 30 persons will be provided with air-fare and accommodations (from UN funds) to attend this workshop in March. Naturally, preference will be given to applicants from developing nations. Dead line for applications is the end of November. Hope to meet you in Fukuoka, where I live.
