[2] The ICG, multifunction GNSS signals, and how to protect them

The Executive Secretariat of the International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG) and the European Commission will hold a special session entitled "The ICG, multifunction GNSS signals, and how to protect them" on 1 June 2016 during the European Space Solutions (ESS) Conference in the Hague, the Netherlands, 30 May through 3 June 2016. In this ICG session, participants will have the chance to learn more about multi-GNSS cooperation. The session is also designed to feature presentations on specific GNSS-related projects/initiatives, including space weather effects on GNSS, and panel discussions to draw up findings and recommendations to be forwarded as a contribution to ICG and its working groups. Detailed information about the ESS Conference and its side events is available at: . http://www.european-space-solutions.eu/index.php

The ICG is providing financial assistance for eligible participants, with preference given to participants from developing countries. Please send your expression of interest, including a description of your project, to Ms. Sharafat Gadimova (sharafat.gadimova[at]unoosa.org) as soon as possible, but not later than Friday, 19 February 2016.
