ISWI Newsletter - Vol.2 No.28
11 April 2010

Dear ISWI Participant:

Prof. Yumoto's SERC recently dispatched a 3-man team (myself and two grad students) to upgrade the magnetometer operating at Ilorin, Nigeria, on the dip equator in central Africa. This was successfully accomplished during the four days that we had in Ilorin; photos to be sent out in a future issue of this newsletter.

In this issue of the ISWI Newsletter, I attach a 2-page report from Peru.

I should mention that the author of this report, Dr Jose Ishitsuka, and the research institute (IGP) that he works for, are host to a MAGDAS unit at the institute's observatory in Ancon --- near Lima, Peru.

During ISWI, please send in your ISWI-related news to my news desk, so that I can send them out with the ISWI Newsletter. This is the purpose of the ISWI Newsletter.
Humbly yours,
George Maeda
